Wizkid’s Starboy Jerseys With Nike Sold Out Within 10mins Of Release

The 2018 Wizkid Co-Creation stadium shirt called Nike by Wizkid has sold out just 10 minutes after it was officially released to the market.

This news was made by the Wizkid who in excitement posted on his Instagram page with the caption;

The release date for the new jersey which is a collaboration between Wizkid and Nike was announced last week by Soco singer as he promised to use his own part of the proceeds from the collaboration to build schools for kids across Africa as that has been his dream. Well, that dream is looking like a reality faster than we thought.

This jersey according to Nike is a celebration of the singer’s Nigerian roots and also a representation of the things that caught the fancy of Starboy; football and fashion.

G-Eazy Dedicates Song to his friend, Mac Miller During Performance

Mac Miller tragically passed away on 7 September and was reportedly pronounced dead at the scene. 

 

Following his death, a number of stars have paid tribute to the musician, including G-Eazy who broke down on stage after dedicating a song to his friend.

The 29-year-old could be seen getting more and more emotional as he performed in front of a picture of Mac Miller that was displayed on a big screen.

Gee added: ‘Mac Miller you changed the fucking world. Thank you.’ Prior to his performance G-Eazy had already paid his respects to Mac in a heartfelt Instagram post. Sharing with his 6.8 million followers he wrote: ‘Completely devastated and heart broken I’m at a loss for words mac you were like a brother to me and were there for me in the hardest of times, especially this summer. I can’t believe this is real.

There was a part MGK had to bring up the lines about the em’s daughter Hailie and saying that Shady hides behind security and Dre beats. Claiming that the new album simply came because he’s “sober and bored,” MGK tells Em to man up and handle his shit, insisting he get over comments that were made six years ago.

Nollywood Actress Genevieve Nnaji Opens Up About Feminism

Genevieve Nnaji in an interview with Women and Hollywood has opened up that she is a feminist. Genevieve made the statement when she was asked to name her favorite woman-directed film and why.  She said

“Patty Jenkins’ “Wonder Woman.” It was powerful and strong, and at the same time, feminine and sexy. I’m a proud feminist who embraces her femininity. I feel sometimes women are made to feel self-conscious and ashamed of their womanhood. Perhaps like “Wonder Woman,” we may wake up one day to discover that it is our superpower, and then we would be unstoppable.”


On the #MeToo and #TimesUp movements, the Nollywood diva said;

“How quickly the oppressed have risen to the top, and yet the train has not stopped. If anything, they continue to create amazing content.”
