Tyra Banks Celebrates First Mother's Day as a Mom and Shares 3 Generations Photo With Baby

Tyra Banks celebrated her first Mother's Day Sunday as a new mom.

The 42-year-old supermodel and America's Next Top Model and FABLife star posted on her Instagram page a sweet three generations pic showing her carrying her baby son York Banks Asla and smiling widely while standing beside her mother Carolyn London, who dotes upon the little man.

"I'm hearing, 'Happy Mother's Day' and I can't believe how lucky I am!" she wrote. "Of all the fashionable hats I wear, I love being a #mother the most. #HappyMothersDay from me and my mama to all the wonderful women of the world!"

Tyra had announced York's birth in January. This is her and partner Erik Asla's first child and he was born via a surrogate. Tyra revealed on FABLife she had battled infertility, adding that she had undergone IVF treatments.

Tyra had gone on maternity leave after welcoming her son.

"Some mornings you wake up and you feel like, 'Where am I? I don't know what is going on and I know it's not a good idea for me to drive right now 'cause I did not sleep,'" she told E! News' Catt Sadler in March.

She also said that she is "empowering" her business team more and is "understanding delegation."

"I'm on maternity leave and Tyra Beauty is kicking butt," she said.
