Former Australian Idol contestant Cosima De Vito is expecting her first child with her husband Augusto De Romanis.
The 40-year-old singer announced the happy news in an interview with Woman's Day, showing off her baby bump in an accompanying photo shoot.
It comes after the former reality star explored IVF before meeting her now husband of two years.
The singer, who placed third on the original Australian Idol behind Guy Sebastian and Shannon Noll, had been single for 10 years and made an appointment at an IVF clinic to explore her options.
Now two years after tying the knot with Gus, the pair are starting a family and are even discussing a second child.
'Becoming a mum was the only thing missing in my life,' she told the magazine. 'And this is a long time coming for Gus, too. All of his friends are dads already and he's over the moon.
'Because we are both older, we've already discussed the fact that as soon as this one comes we should start trying for another.'
The couple married back in 2015 after Gus proposed just a month after they met.
