Olamide's "Wo", Davido's "Fall" And Other Songs Banned By NBC
The National Broadcasting Corporation (NBC) has placed a ban on five Nigerian songs and tagged them as songs not to be broadcasted.
Following the release of this list, the songs can no longer be aired.
You would recall that not so long ago, music artiste Falz, had thrown a jab at musicians who seem to encourage the act of fraud through their music and this was interpreted to be directed at 9ice for his song, "Living Things".
The Federal Ministry of Health had stated via twitter on Friday that the content and video to Olamide's "Wo" contains scenes that violate the ban on Tobacco Advertising, promotion and sponsorship provision of the act and was a clear violation of Nigeria's Tobacco Control Act 2015.
The songs included on this list are: Olamide's "Wo" and "Wavy Level", Davido's "Fall" and "IF (Remix)" and 9ice's "Living Things."
