Seasoned Nollywood filmmakers, Rachael Oniga, Ngozi Nwosu, Omoni Oboli and Ramsey Nouah have reunited in a latest family comedy, My Wife & I, which recently premiered in cinemas around the country.
As directed by Bunmi Ajakaiye, the comic movie sees the return of Ramsey Nouah and Omoni Oboli as a couple, almost a decade after the duo’s brilliant display in Kunle Afolayan’s blockbuster, Figurine. My Wife and I tells the hilarious story of a ‘fun dad’ Toyosi (Ramsey Nouah) and ‘Tigress Mum’ Ebere (Omoni Oboli), an unhappily married couple on the verge of a divorce, each convinced that the other is the reason for the collapse of their marriage. For the sake of their twin teenagers, and at the urging of their parents, they decide to give their marriage one last chance. After a visit to a famous Pastor, they somehow wake up in each other’s bodies. Unable to switch back, Toyosi and Ebere are forced to masquerade as each other until a solution can be found. The movie features other top names in Nollywood, such as Jemima Osunde, Dozie Onyiriuka, Seyi Law, Sambasa Nzeribe, Bolanle Ninalowo, among others.
