Aisha Buhari and her grand daughter welcome President Buhari back from Borno

Aisha Buhari and her granddaughter welcomed President Buhari back to Abuja following his trip to Borno State.

The President visited Maiduguri today, where he marked the 57th Independence anniversary with troops of Operation Lafiya Dole involved in the fight against Boko Haram in Borno State.

Sharing the photo, Mrs Buhari prays for the gallant men fighting in the North East.

"I welcome my husband back from Borno, where he visited troops of the Nigerian Armed Forces at the headquarters of operation Lafiya Dole.

We appreciate the efforts of our gallant men who have dedicated their lives fighting and sleeping in the most unimaginable conditions to ensure that normalcy returns to the North East . We continue to pray for them and we assure them that we will always remember them in our prayers."
