Seems like it’s becoming a norm for Wizkid to keep going higher and higher, as the boy now barely goes three months without news of a new record popping up on social media. Folks say it’s his remarkable singing abilities that keeps pushing him up the ladder of fame. But others, especially fans of Davido, say the records are unmerited.

However, emerging the most streamed Afrobeats artiste on Spotify is not a record that can be rigged. Obviously, Wizkid is getting the kind of love that other Nigerian and African singers are yet to get. As a matter of fact, the love he’s getting comes from beyond the African community and has now rendered him a more or less superstar.

The waves Wizzy has made this year has gotten Davido’s fans making a comparison between both singers as to who has bagged more awards this year and is more worthy of notice and celebration. The answer remained Wizkid.
