My Wife Was Not Beheaded – Husband of “Beheaded” Igbo Woman Confirms

There had been reports across the media that the 75-year-old Mrs Bridget was beheaded in Kano but the Police say Mrs Bridget was beaten to death by an angry mob who were made to believe that she blasphemed against the Prophet of Islam.

In an interview with reporters of Breaking Times, the husband of the deceased, Pastor Mike Agbahime, also confirmed that his wife was not beheaded.

He stressed that she had been having misunderstanding with business neighbours over a space.

Mr Mike further explained that youths forced their way into one Alhaji’s house where he and his wife were hiding, overpowered the few policemen around and killed his wife before the arrival of Police reinforcement.

The Police Commissioner has said that the suspects in custody would be charge to court to answer for their crimes and that the command would continue to investigate and arrest any other person involved in the attack.
