Real Madrid’s back-up stars sent a message to Cristiano Ronaldo by starring in their 6-2 victory over Deportivo La Coruna last night.
Alvaro Morata, James Rodriguez, and Isco were all on target as Zinedine Zidane’s men flourished without their fabled ‘BBC’.
Ronaldo was rested, Karim Benzema and Gareth Bale was injured but Real ran riot at the Estadio Riazor to stay level on points with Barcelona - with a game in hand.
And Spanish outlet Don Balon say Ronaldo and Zidane were impressed by their squad players, including Marco Asensio and Lucas Vazquez.
Eden Hazard has reportedly told friends he wants to join Real Madrid.
Belgian magazine Voetbal are quoted as saying Chelsea star Hazard has made his pals aware he is ready to move to the Bernabeu.
Real are thought to be preparing a £100million bid for the 26-year-old.
James Rodriguez has an agreement with his agent to join Manchester United, according to reports in Spain.
Rodriguez has struggled to hold down a place in Zidane’s team this season and has been linked with a summer move.
And Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim the Colombia international has reached an agreement in principle with his agent Jorge Mendes - who also represents Jose Mourinho - to head to Old Trafford.
