The NURSS President, Rivers State University Chapter [Comrade Franklin Obirizi] has been suspended pending on the investigation that will be reached by the senate committee on discipline, privileges and ethics headed by Sen John Kingsley.
The decision was made because the NURSS president RSU chapter allegedly disrupted and created a fraction by going to media houses saying RSU NURSS chapter is not pat of the peaceful demonstration planned by the National Secretariat, which made him act against the national constitution.
The suspension began 29th September, 2017 and he will not be allowed to attend NURSS National Senate Seating/Meeting until the committee is done wit investigations and findings.
The National Senate Arm suspends all Illicit Sales of Bursary forms as regards the much expected Bursary payment.
