As Nigeria and other Countries mark the May 1 International Workers’
Day also known as May Day, Nigeria’s number one Public servant,
President Muhammadu Buhari is conspicuously absent . There are reports
that President Buhari’s health has deteriorated since he returned from a
medical sojourn in the United Kingdom.
This year’s May Day celebration was graced by the minister of Labour,
Dr Chris Ngige, Senate President Bukola Saraki and few other political
personalities were present. However, the Permanent secretary in the
ministry who stood in for the President, was received with anger and
chants of *we no go gree oo, we no go gree*.
Nigerians have also taken to twitter to lament their frustration at the increasing disappearing acts by the Presidency.
